While students are free to publish anything related to their studies they are expected to reflect on the ‘rules of the game’ for good research in their academic discipline. This should be biased upon the published academic papers read, what students learn as part of this course, and reflecting on research practice. The key question is ‘what is good research’?

Purpose of Assignment

- To develop the practice of reflexitivity.
- To identify and reflect on the hidden curriculum / habitus associated with the discipline by reflecting on the practices of what constitutes good research in an academic.
